Student Eligibility Requirements

Nurse Aide I Course

1. Proof of US Citizenship - State Issued Identification and Social Security Card

2. Proof of High School Completion - High School Diploma, GED, or College Transcripts

3. Background Clearance - No Felonies or Misdemeanor Convictions related to larceny, abuse, or neglect

4. TB or PPD clearance - Provide proof of a Current TB test

Medication Aide Course

1. Proof of US Citizenship - State Issued Identification and Social Security Card

2. Proof of High School Completion - High School Diploma, GED, or College Transcripts

3. Proof of current or previous nurse aide training or certification


Nurse Aide Refresher Course

1. Proof of US Citizenship - State Issued Identification and Social Security Card

2. Proof of High School Completion - High School Diploma, GED, or College Transcripts

3. Proof of current or previous nurse aide training or certification

CNA II Course

1. Proof of US Citizenship - State Issued Identification and Social Security Card

2. Proof of High School Completion - High School Diploma, GED, or College Transcripts

3. Background Clearance - No Felonies or Misdemeanor Convictions related to larceny, abuse, or neglect

4. TB or PPD clearance - Provide proof of a Current TB test

5. Current CNA I certification - listed on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry and in good standing
