Q: WHAT IS THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS?
A: The enrollment process includes the following:
1. Submitting completed forms and required information
2. Paying the application fee and tuition.

Q: HOW DO I SUBMIT COMPLETED FORMS AND REQUIRED INFORMATION?
A: Forms and information can be mailed, emailed, faxed or turned in at the office.

Q: HOW DO I PAY THE APPLICATION FEE AND THE DEPOSIT OR TUITION?
A: Payments can be made with a credit card, debit card, or money order in person.
We also accept payments by phone with a debit or credit card. WE DO NOT ACCEPT
CASH or PERSONAL CHECKS.

Q: HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM ADMITTED?
A: ENROLLMENT PACKETS ARE PROCESSED ONCE THE REQUIRED INFORMATION IS
SUBMITTED, THE APPLICATION FEE AND THE MINIMUM DEPOSIT IS PAID. IF A
PROSPECTIVE STUDENT IS FOUND TO BE INELIGIBLE FOR ENROLLMENT DUE TO
BACKGROUND CHECK FINDINGS - ALL MONIES WILL BE REFUNDED MINUS THE
APPLICATION FEE ($25) AND THE BACKGROUND CHECK FEE ($25).

Q: WHAT IS THE PAYMENT PLAN?
A: The payment plan only applies to the Nurse Aide I and CNA II Courses. All other courses
must be paid in full by the first day of class. You can start the Nurse Aide I Training class with
a signed contract and a minimum deposit of $250. The $250 balance must be paid by the
second week of class. You can start the CNA II class with a signed contract and minimum
deposit of $350. The $350 balance is must be paid by the third week of class.

Q: WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
A: Money order, credit or debit card.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS.

Q: WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE MY HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED?
A: We offer a TABE placement test in lieu of a high school diploma or GED. Call the office to
schedule an appointment to take the test. Testing Fee: $25 (non-refundable)

Q: IS THE STATE EXAM INCLUDED IN THE TUITION AND FEES?
A: No. The STATE Exam is not included in the cost of the course. Students who complete courses at Nurse Aide Institute are eligible to take the STATE Exam at the school. You can sit for the STATE Exam within 30 days of completing a course.

Q: WHERE CAN I GET A TB TEST?
A: You can get a TB test at the local health department, Urgent Care, or your family physician's office.

Q: I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN A COURSE. CAN I JUST TAKE THE STATE EXAM AT NURSE AIDE INSTITUTE?
A: No. ONLY STUDENTS who have completed courses at Nurse Aide Institute are eligible to take the STATE exam at Nurse Aide Institute.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES THE STATE EXAM COST?
A: The application fee for the STATE exam is $96. The cost of the STATE EXAM in NOT included in
the course fees. This is a separate fee paid directly to NACES.

Q: DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE NURSE AIDE I OR THE REFRESHER COURSE TO SIT FOR THE STATE EXAM?
